THE PROBLEM

ITS THE EMPLOYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK EMPLOYEES RIGHT TO WORK

It is an employers responsibility to ensure that a potential employee has the RIGHT TO WORK before being employed. Under the Migration Act 1958 and Migration Regulations 1994, employers have a legal obligation to ensure non-Australian citizens have a right to work in Australia.

The fines for breaches can be as much as:

Fine – Corporations.

$315,000
Fine – Individuals.

$63,000

It's not just that you need to check a visa holders RIGHT TO WORK when they are first employed. You still must monitor this whilst they are employed. This can be an absolute nightmare when employing travellers and other non-Australians. Find out more here

Our unique solution means that you see way in advance that an employees WORK RIGHTS are going to expire.

For employees with over 3 months until expiry their profile shows a GREEN colour. Notices for less than 3 months to expiration changes to YELLOW and notices are sent through email. Employees with less then 1 month turn RED in colour, emails are sent and also by flashing notifications on the employer dash board.

This gives employers the confidence that they are tracking these expiration dates which until now were a real existential concern for employers of all sizes.
