Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-focused Bar Attendant to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. You’ll be working across our hotel’s bar and event spaces, crafting quality drinks and delivering warm, professional service that reflects the Novotel brand. Whether it’s a wedding, conference, or Friday night drinks, you’ll help ensure every guest enjoys an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service behind the bar
Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and coffee
Maintain bar cleanliness, restocking, and presentation to brand standards
Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems
Engage with guests and offer menu recommendations when appropriate
Ensure all Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) guidelines are followed
Assist with functions and events as required
Work as part of a team to deliver consistent high-quality service
About You
Previous experience in a bar, pub, hotel, or high-volume venue preferred
Confident in basic cocktail preparation and beverage service
Holds a valid NSW RSA certificate
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and a can-do attitude
Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and evenings
