As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences at our venue.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence:
Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
Collaborate with the Venue Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and quality standards.
Monitor and maintain venue cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance to create an inviting and comfortable environment for guests.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
Support the Venue Manager in leading a high-performing team, fostering a positive work culture, and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Assist in training new employees on company policies, procedures, and service standards.
3. Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure that guests receive outstanding service throughout their visit, promptly addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests and ensuring their needs are met.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve the guest experience and implement initiatives to exceed customer expectations.
4. Financial Management:
Assist in monitoring and achieving financial targets, including revenue generation, cost control, and profitability.
Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and increase sales.
Qualifications:
>Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
>Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and customers.
>Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.
>A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
>Knowledge of local regulations and licensing requirements in the hospitality industry.
>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
