Job Title: Casual Barista

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Casual Barista to join our team in Maroubra. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to established recipes and procedures
Ensure that all drinks are prepared to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner
Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment and ensure that it is clean and functioning properly
Greet customers and take orders, making recommendations as needed
Collect payments and operate the cash register
Maintain stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setting up for the next shift
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with the team to provide excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Barista or similar role
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machines
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
