Job Title: Cook
Location: Pool Cafe Maroubra
Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cook to join our team at the Pool Cafe in Maroubra. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals and snacks, ensuring that our customers receive a great dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to established recipes and procedures
Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner
Collaborate with the team to ensure that all orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the kitchen and surrounding areas
Monitor and comply with all food handling and safety procedures
Order supplies and maintain stock levels
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setting up for the next shift
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cook or similar role
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking equipment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
