Job Title: Kitchen Hand

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team at the Pool Cafe in Maroubra. As a Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring that dishes are washed and put away properly.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
Wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand or using a dishwasher
Store clean dishes and kitchen supplies in the proper locations
Dispose of garbage and recycling in the appropriate bins
Help with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setting up for the next shift
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or similar role preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
