Royal Hotel Paddington is looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to join the ranks of our iconic venue. Situated on Glenmore Road in Paddington, Royal Hotel has been around for 130 years and has a very strong presence on the Sydney pub scene, especially within the Eastern Suburbs. We run a tight ship, and are looking for a hospitality professional that is looking to grow and develop in a very contemporary and forward thinking company.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
-1-3 years supervisory or management experience in a busy pub, club, or larger venue
-A positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
-Gaming experience will be a plus but not a necessity
-Strong cash handling experience and POS reconciliation skills
We are after a person that wants to come to work and gets stuck in, cares about the venue and has a laugh at the end of it all. We run very high-profile events throughout the year (Anzac Day and Melbourne Cup are infamous around these parts) and have a solid customer base that runs the gamut from young professionals to retirees, and everything in between.
