.Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in a vibrant hospitality environment? The Royal Hotel Paddington is looking for dynamic Cellar Staff to join our team. As a Cellar Staff member, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our beverage services and contributing to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities:
Beverage Management:
Assist in the management of the venue's beverage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing.
Ensure proper stock rotation and quality control of beverages.
Cellar Operations:
Maintain a clean and organized cellar environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Assist in keg handling, tapping, and maintenance.
Beverage Service:
Collaborate with bartenders and waitstaff to ensure timely delivery of beverages to guests.
Prepare and deliver drink orders accurately and efficiently.
Inventory Control:
Assist in regular stocktakes and inventory management to track beverage levels and minimize wastage.
Monitor and report any discrepancies in stock levels.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all beverages are stored and served at the appropriate temperatures and conditions.
Assist in maintaining the quality and consistency of beverage offerings.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cellar and beverage storage areas.
Assist in routine maintenance of beverage equipment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality or bar setting is advantageous.
Knowledge of beverage types, brands, and serving techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying kegs.
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines related to beverage handling.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
