As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for guiding and supporting our front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience and maintain high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service and uphold venue standards.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
Guest Interaction:
Interact with guests, address inquiries, and ensure their needs are met promptly and courteously.
Handle guest feedback, concerns, and requests in a proactive and positive manner.
Service Coordination:
Coordinate service flow, manage reservations, and oversee table assignments.
Ensure accurate communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Quality Control:
Monitor the presentation and quality of dishes, drinks, and overall service.
Assist in maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Training and Development:
Train new team members on service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance staff performance.
Shift Management:
Open and close the venue as required, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and adherence to grooming and uniform standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling is advantageous.
