As a Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the venue, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Supervise and guide front-of-house staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and professional conduct.
Guest Interaction:
Interact with guests, address inquiries, and ensure that their needs are met promptly and courteously.
Handle guest feedback, concerns, and requests with a proactive and positive attitude.
Service Coordination:
Coordinate and allocate tasks to staff during service to maintain efficiency and quality.
Oversee the timing and pacing of orders to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Quality Control:
Monitor service quality, table settings, and overall presentation to uphold venue standards.
Assist in ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established guidelines.
Cash Handling:
Assist in handling cash transactions, processing payments, and reconciling registers accurately.
Maintain cash handling procedures and security protocols.
Training and Development:
Assist in training new staff members on service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance staff performance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
Ability to handle busy service periods and prioritize tasks effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
