Minskys Hotel is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the venue.
Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
Assist the Venue Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service delivery across all departments.
Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of service quality and cleanliness.
Guest Interaction:
Interact with guests, address inquiries, and ensure a positive guest experience.
Handle guest feedback, concerns, and requests in a proactive and courteous manner.
Team Leadership:
Support the Venue Manager in supervising and mentoring the front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Shift Management:
Assist in opening and closing the venue, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
Monitor staff adherence to grooming, uniform standards, and punctuality.
Quality Control:
Monitor the presentation and quality of dishes, drinks, and overall service.
Address any issues related to service quality and guest satisfaction.
Inventory and Supplies:
Assist in managing inventory levels, restocking supplies, and coordinating orders.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of items to minimize wastage.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership qualities with the desire to motivate and guide a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling is advantageous.
