Support Our Culinary Team and Ensure a Smooth Kitchen Operation
Are you a reliable and motivated individual with a passion for working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Minskys Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring an efficient kitchen operation.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Hygiene:
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and workstations.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Food Preparation:
Assist chefs and cooks with ingredient preparation, chopping, and portioning.
Follow recipes and instructions accurately to support the kitchen team.
Inventory Management:
Receive and store deliveries, ensuring items are properly labeled and organized.
Rotate stock and maintain proper storage conditions to prevent wastage.
Kitchen Organization:
Keep the kitchen area tidy and organized, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Assist with the disposal of kitchen waste and cleaning of kitchen surfaces.
Team Support:
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a cohesive and efficient kitchen operation.
Assist with any other tasks as directed by the kitchen management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant, Kitchen Hand, or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
