Are you a friendly and customer-oriented individual with a passion for beverages? Minskys Hotel is seeking a Bottle Shop Attendant to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers in the Bottle Shop. As a Bottle Shop Attendant, you'll play a crucial role in assisting customers with their beverage selections and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly, assist them in selecting beverages, and provide recommendations as needed.
Answer customer inquiries and offer information about product options and promotions.
Sales and Transactions:
Process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash and electronic payments, issue receipts, and maintain cash register accuracy.
Inventory Management:
Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and appealing to customers.
Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and rotate products to maintain freshness.
Product Knowledge:
Familiarize yourself with the variety of beverages available and stay updated on new arrivals.
Provide customers with information about different products, including wine, spirits, and beers.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to responsible service of alcohol (RSA) guidelines and age verification procedures.
Follow proper safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash.
Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
