Responsibilities:
Culinary Execution:
Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Assist in creating menu items that showcase creativity and culinary innovation.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of taste, quality, and presentation for all dishes.
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and plating techniques.
Ingredient Preparation:
Assist in ingredient preparation, including cleaning, chopping, and portioning.
Ensure ingredients are of top quality and stored properly.
Kitchen Collaboration:
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow during service.
Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance kitchen operations.
Hygiene and Safety:
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Follow proper sanitation and kitchen maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
Culinary degree or relevant culinary certification is a plus.
Basic understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Enthusiasm to learn and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
