Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for culinary excellence? The Toxteth Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to join our team. As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment and supporting the kitchen team in various tasks.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Support:
Assist the kitchen team in food preparation, including cleaning, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Dishwashing:
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation methods.
Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored.
Cleaning and Sanitization:
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils according to hygiene standards.
Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
Stock Management:
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages to the kitchen team.
Hygiene and Safety:
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Follow proper sanitation and kitchen maintenance procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant or in a similar role is preferred.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and hygiene practices.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
