The Toxteth Hotel is seeking a Supervisor to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless service operations and guest satisfaction. As a Supervisor, you'll lead by example, coordinate staff, and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and guide front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching to enhance team capabilities.
Guest Interaction:
Interact with guests, address inquiries, and ensure a positive guest experience.
Handle guest feedback, concerns, and requests in a proactive and courteous manner.
Service Coordination:
Coordinate service flow, manage reservations, and oversee table assignments.
Ensure timely delivery of orders and a smooth dining experience.
Quality Control:
Monitor the presentation and quality of dishes, drinks, and overall service.
Address any issues related to service quality and guest satisfaction.
Shift Management:
Open and close the venue as required, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
Ensure staff adherence to grooming, uniform standards, and punctuality.
Training and Development:
Assist in training new staff on service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance staff performance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling is advantageous.
